Koemme, että tänään on aika hiljentyä muistelemaan syöpään menehtyneitä lapsia. Suomessa lähes 150 lasta saa syöpädiagnoosin joka vuosi. Kun syöpädiagnoosi tulee se pyöräyttää koko perheen elämän ylösalaisin, katsomatta aikaa tai paikkaa.
On hyvin tärkeää, että jaamme tietoa lasten syöpäsairauksista sekä tuemme tätä tärkeää asiaa. On surullista ajatella kuinka moni lapsi ja perhe joutuvat tällä hetkellä taistelemaan syöpää vastaan.
Tiesitkö, että syöpä on yksi yleisimmistä lasten kuolinsyistä Suomessa? Lähes joka toinen päivä lapsi sairastuu syöpään ja yhä joka viides syöpään sairastunut lapsi kuolee. Tämä on sydäntä särkevä todellisuus! Voimme saada aikaan muutoksen lisäämällä tietoisuutta ja tukemalla lasten syövän hoidon tutkimusta ja kehitystä.

It is very important that we share information on childhood cancers and support this important issue. It is sad to think how many children and families are currently having to fight cancer.
Did you know that cancer is one of the most common causes of death among children in Finland? Almost every other day, a child falls ill with cancer and one in five children with cancer still dies. This is a heartbreaking reality! We can make a difference by raising awareness and supporting research and development in cancer treatment.
