RESPONSIBILITY

The most important criterion when choosing a clothing manufacturer was that the products are made ecologically. We hope that the garment brings joy to the user and lasts from user to user.

The clothes we design in Finland are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton in China. The factory that manufactures the clothes has also been awarded the GOTS certificate (Global Standard for Natural Textiles) and the GRS certificate (Global Recycling Standard certificate).

We want our products to be manufactured responsibly and transparently. This means that no chemical pesticides are used in the cultivation of organic cotton. With the company's own license number, it is also possible to trace the information of the factory that produced the clothes. You can find the GOTS license number on the washcloth of the product.

GRS (certificate number: 1216/GRS/2021/01)
The goal of GRS is to increase the use of recycled materials in products and to reduce the harmful effects of production on people and the environment. The certificate ensures that the materials of the final product are truly recycled, and the products are processed more sustainably. GRS properties must meet strict social and environmental requirements. Chemicals that can cause harm to people or the environment must not be used in GRS products.
The certificate requires that the product contains at least 20% recycled material. Every stage of production must be certified, starting with the recycling stage and ending with the finished product.
A professional, third-party certification body inspects each stage of the supply chain.

GOTS (certificate number: EGL/254396/1369608/1)
GOTS is a global organic certification that is monitored by an independent body. GOTS evaluates textile processing and production based on both ecological and social criteria, as it is the only way to build a truly sustainable textile industry. This means that the GOTS assessment carefully examines every stage of production, from the chemicals used to the ethical treatment of workers. A company is granted the GOTS
certificate only if all criteria of the standard, from the cultivation of the raw material to the end product, are fulfilled in accordance with the rules.
The most important social criteria required of GOTS-certified companies are the prohibition of child labor, safe and hygienic working conditions, elimination of discrimination, fair and a living wage, regular working hours and the right to collective bargaining.
