Lahjoituskohteemme muuttuu vuosittain. Ensimmäisen tilikautemme voitosta 40% ohjautuu lasten syövän hoidon tutkimukseen ja kehitykseen Aamu säätiölle. Valitsimme ensimmäisen vuoden lahjoituskohteeksi Aamu säätiön, koska Suomessa syöpään menehtyy edelleenkin joka viides alle 15-vuotias sairastunut lapsi ja lähes joka toinen päivä Suomessa lapsi saa syöpädiagnoosin. Tämä koskettaa meitä syvästi. Toivomme, että jokainen syöpään sairastunut lapsi voisi tulevaisuudessa saada täyden elämän.
Aamu säätiön sivuihin tutustuessamme oli selvää, että haluamme olla mukana tukemassa tätä tärkeää asiaa. Olimme yhteydessä Aamu säätiöön ja saimmekin heiltä heti lämpimän vastaanoton ja tiesimme tämän olevan juuri oikea kohde meille.
Ei mennyt aikaakaan kun olimme jo viemässä Turun Yliopistollisen sairaalan lasten syöpäosastolle yllätyskasseja. Halusimme näin tuoda syöpää sairastaville lapsille piristystä päivään ja saada ajatuksia pois ikävistä asioista. Saimme kuulla osastolta, että pienen potilaan pelokas itku oli lakannut kun hän oli saanut lähettämämme yllätyspehmolelun kainaloonsa, koimme että yksi yrityksemme suurimmista tavoitteista oli täyttynyt. Yksi tärkeimmistä tavoitteistamme on tuoda iloa syöpää sairastaville lapsille, vaatteidemme kuvittajille.
Halukkaat saivat piirrellä osastolla kuvia malliston vaatteisiin. Lapset lähtivätkin innokkaasti mukaan ja saimme paljon ihania kuvia. Nyt ihanista taideteoksista neljä on esillä mallistoissamme, joita ylpeydellä esittelemme.
Olemme iloisia, että ensimmäinen lahjoituskohteemme on juuri Aamu Suomen Lasten Syöpäsäätiö!

Our donation target: Aamu Suomen Lasten Syöpäsäätiö
Our donation destination changes every year. 40% of the profit for our first financial year will be directed to research and development in the treatment of childrens cancer to the Aamu Foundation. We chose the Aamu Foundation as the donation target for the first year, because in Finland, one in five children under the age of 15 still dies of cancer, and almost every other day in Finland a child is diagnosed with cancer. We are deeply affected by this. We hope that every child with cancer will be able to have a full life in the future.
When we looked at the Aamu Foundation's website, it was clear that we wanted to be involved in supporting this important cause. We were in contact with the Aamu Foundation and immediately received a warm welcome from them and we knew this was the right destination for us.
It wasn't long before we were already taking surprise bags to the pediatric cancer ward of Turku University Hospital. In this way, we wanted to give children with cancer a boost to their day and get their thoughts away from unpleasant things. We heard from the ward that the fearful crying of a small patient had ceased when he had received the surprise soft toy we had sent under his arm, we felt that one of our company's biggest goals had been fulfilled. One of our main goals is to bring joy to children with cancer, to the illustrators of our clothes.
Those who wished to do so were able to draw pictures of the clothes in the collection at the stand. The children were eager to join us and we got a lot of lovely pictures. Now four of the wonderful works of art are on display in our collections, which we proudly present.
We are happy that our first donation target is the Aamu Finnish Children's Cancer Foundation!
